Wash Wave Order Notifications is our transactional notification program delivered by SMS text message and/or automated phone call. Customers opt in only in person at our store register — there is no website or online opt-in. Here is exactly how a customer opts in:

1. The customer drops off their laundry at our front register inside the store.
2. Our clerk verbally asks: "Would you like to receive a text message or an automated phone call when your laundry is ready for pickup?"
3. A printed sign at the register (shown below) displays the full program terms before the customer provides a phone number.
4. If the customer agrees, they provide their mobile number, which the clerk enters into our point-of-sale system with a verbal-consent flag.
5. The customer then receives only transactional text messages and/or automated phone calls about that specific order.

Notification frequency is approximately 1–3 messages or calls per order. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Standard carrier rates may apply to phone calls. Reply STOP to any text to cancel SMS, or tell us at the register / call (203) 527-4647 to opt out of phone calls. Reply HELP to any text for help. Mobile numbers and consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Automated phone calls: Voice calls are delivered by an automated AI voice agent. Each call begins with a clear disclosure identifying the call as automated and originating from Wash Wave Laundromat. Calls are placed only for transactional order events (order received, ready for pickup, uncollected reminder) — never for marketing.
